The Don Raymond Relays certainly is a place to find good talent in track and field. High schools from the surrounding areas participated on Friday at Hahnville High School. However, for the Hahnville girls and boys team, winning was not an option but a plan. They both successfully took first place in the Don Raymond Relays.
On March 17, high schools from around the region will descend on Hahnville High School for the Don Raymond Relays. Beginning at 3 p.m., girls and boys will be participating in the track and field event. Throwing events, such as discus and javelin, and field events, such as long jump, start at 3 p.m., with running events beginning at 5 p.m.
