All of Bayou Gauche, along with parts of old Luling, St. Rose and Hahnville are currently without power.
Emergency Operations Center wind gauges reached 50 mph this morning and the wind should get faster over the next two to three hours.
EOC Director Tab Troxler says the amount of storm surge flooding will depend on if Gustav makes landfall as a Cat 3 or Cat 2 storm.
Troxler says that flooding wont begin on the West Bank until tomorrow.
