Though EOC Director Tab Troxler was worried about shifting winds bringing flood waters into the parish, it looks like the threat has disappeared.
Renee Allemand, the parish’s public information officer, says originally it seemed like those shifting winds could push more water against Bayou Gauche and Des Allemands. However, she says recent reports indicate that the parish may be “out of the woods.”
