Sheriff’s Reports – September 20, 2018

Arrests

  • Alexis Washington, 32, of 5518 Wilton Drive in New Orleans, was arrested Sept. 17 and charged with obstruction of justice.
  • Glenn Grover, 18, of 918 Gassen St. in Luling, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with principle to illegal use of a weapon and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
  • Kelley Jones, 57, of 728 West 23rd St. in Covington, was arrested Sept. 14 and charged with possession of alprazolam and possession of marijuana.
  • Lloyd Nelson, 52, of 358 Second St. in St. Rose, was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with possession of crack.
  • Tijae Jarrow, 20, of 340 East 14th St. in Reserve, was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with illegal tinting of a window, no liability insurance, false certificate and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
  • Scott Loupe, 39, of 119 Sunshine Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested Sept. 11 and charged with illegal possession of stolen things, possession of cocaine, possession of Schedule II CDS, monetary instrument abuse, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II, possession of heroin, resisting an officer possession of drug paraphernalia and contraband in correctional center. He was a fugitive.
  • Lindsey Vonaspern, 30, of 122 Louis the 1st St. in Luling, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with possession of methamphetamine and contraband in correctional center.
  • James Augustine, 30, of 100 Lance Lane in Luling, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with home invasion and theft of a motor vehicle.
  • Joseph Yarber, 28, of 1060 Ave. B in Westwego, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with failure to maintain proper control of vehicle, driving license suspended, open container, possession of marijuana over 14 grams, possession of Schedule II (two counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was a fugitive (five counts).
  • Wilson Naquin, 40, of 9699 East Main St. in Houma, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with obstruction of justice, careless operation, rendering assistance and failure to comply with no wake zone.
  • David Deshazo, 26, of 14 Bridal Path Lane in St. Rose, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with entry after remaining forbidden and disturbing the peace.
  • Jamie Toney, 38, of 4089 Hwy. 306 in Des Allemands, was arrested Sept. 11 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Shannon Scott, of 121 Lakewood Drive in Luling, was arrested Sept. 11 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Joseph Dempster, 49, of 3631 Hwy. 306 in Des Allemands, was arrested Sept. 10 and charged with false swearing, public health and obstruction of justice.
  • John Schmidt, 33, of 2749 Bienville St. in New Orleans, was arrested Sept. 10 and charged with armed robbery and use of a firearm.

Incidents

  • A vehicle was burglarized on Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose on Sept. 13 and an audio amplifier, miscellaneous tools and $150 was taken from the vehicle.
  • A home was burglarized on Kinler St. in Luling on Sept. 13 and a safe containing personal information and other various valuables was taken from the residence.
  • Two incidents of theft at Ormond Nursing Home was reported on Sept. 13, with money taken from one victim’s room when he was asleep and money reportedly stolen from the purse of another victim.
  • A television was taken from the patio of a victim’s King St. residence in Hahnville on Sept. 13.
  • A residence was burglarized on Lincoln St. in Hahnville on Sept. 12. Two hand trucks and a water heater were stolen.
