Mary M. Robert of Ama, Louisiana, passed away October 26, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born in Russellville, Alabama to the late Buddy and Arleva Morgan. She was a resident of Louisiana for 60 years. Loving wife of the late Edwin “Sonny” Robert, Jr. of 48 years. Sister of Tom Morgan (Ann), Jim Morgan (Susan), Alice Baker (Frank), and the late James Baker (Linda). Nieces and nephews, Donald Colomb, Jr. (Debra), Scott Colomb (Teri), Michael Robert (Lacey), Mario Randazzo, Jessica Brevelle (Brad), Charles Robert, Jr., Mandy Shires (Clay), Justin Morgan (Brittney), and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Mary was a 1961 graduate of Phil Campbell High School. She worked briefly in the garment industry before moving to New Orleans area where she worked as an expeditor for various power plants, traveling extensively in the US. She always had a love of music and was the church pianist and organist for most of her life, playing for various churches around St. Charles parish and for many weddings and funerals.
Please join us at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Ama, LA on Friday, November 6, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10AM with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12PM. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, LA.
