Killona man sentenced to 10 years for indecent behavior with juvenile

Allegedly had sexual contact with seven-year-old

A Killona man accused of having sexual contact with a seven-year-old family female family member was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Leonard Gullage, 51, of 153 Killona Drive, will serve at least the first two of those years without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. He received credit for time served. Gullage must comply with requirements to register or remain registered as a sex offender.

He was arrested March 16 as result of a warrant issued in January. According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, the victim’s mother called police to report the situation.

The man allegedly had inappropriate contact with the child on more than one occasion.

A charge of sexual battery was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
