Arrests

• Ernest Melonson, 32, of 216 North Laurel St. in Metairie, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with obstruction of justice, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, expired plate, expired vehicle inspection, aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon and illegal use of weapon as dangerous instrument. He was a fugitive.
• Christopher Demers, 24, of 208 Bradwall St. in Luling, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with possession of heroin.
• Brian Fahrig, 22, of 316 Willard Drive in Luling, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with disturbing the peace and possession of cocaine.
• Joshua Giambelluca, 35, of 1616 Farrington Drive in Marrero, was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II and possession of Schedule III.
• Sandy Folse, 37, of 804 Fonda St. in Des Allemands, was arrested Feb. 9 and charged with aggravated second degree battery.
• John Ford, 36, of 384 Fairway Drive in LaPlace, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with illegal possession of stolen things, suspended driver’s license and speeding. He was a fugitive.
• Kathryn Vercher, 34, of 1900 Riviere Ave., was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with taking contraband into penal institution, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of Xanax.
• Courtney Bosarge, 35, of 3101 Danny Park, Metairie, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Xanax.
• Zain Cameron, 18, of 131 Lakewood Drive in Luling, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with no seat belt, distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of Xanax.
• Howard Charles Jr., 28, of 304 River Oaks in Destrehan, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with tail lamps required, no driver’s license on person, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of synthetic cannabinoids and possession of cocaine.
• Elijah Perrier, 20, 426 Wade Street in Luling, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with simple burglary of a motor vehicle.
• Herschel Hill III, 31, of 398 Ash St. in Boutte, was arrested Feb. 3 and charged with terrorizing.
• Brian Thompson, 26, of 900 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with entering/remaining after forbidden.
• Eric Bell, 25, of 102 Live Oak Lane in Luling, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with domestic abuse battery involving strangulation of a pregnant victim. He had an attachment.
• Allen Smith, 20, of 170 Smith St. in Hahnville, was arrested Feb. 1 and charged with parking in prohibited places, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance law. He had an attachment (two counts).
