DESTREHAN/LULING – The St. Charles Parish Registrar of Voters Office will be conducting voter registration drives on Tuesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 15 during Voter Education Week.
The voter registration drives will be held on Tuesday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East Regional Library located at 160 W. Campus Drive in Destrehan and Thursday, May 15 at the West Regional Library located at 105 Lakewood Drive in Luling from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Registrar of Voters Office is also seeking to inform the public of expanded voting options for senior citizens.
Besides voting in person on election day or early voting at the Registrar Of Voters Office, those who are 65 years of age and older or mobility impaired may receive their election ballot by mail. Voters who choose this option may still vote in person, but are requested to not return their ballot by mail.
Additional “Mail Ballot Request Forms” are available on the St. Charles Parish website at www.stcharlesparish-la.gov/registrar.
