The Community Chorus of the River Parishes was first established in 2000 and is now entering its 14th year.

The chorus is made up of numerous citizens from across the River Parishes who are all united by their love of singing.

“There are some singers who are trained, but most are just people who love to sing,” Riecke said. “We have ages ranging from high school students all the way up to people in their 80s. We just love to sing.”

The West Bank concert will take place at R.K. Smith Middle School located at 281 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.

The East Bank concert will take place at St. Charles Borromeo located at 13396 River Road in Destrehan.
