Auditions for “Anything Goes” at St. John Theatre

RESERVE – The St. John Theatre in Reserve will present Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes” as its summer musical and will hold cast auditions on May 12, 13, 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. nightly.

The show will be directed by Reserve native Darryl P. Clement. Show dates are July 18, 19, 20 and 23, 24, 25 and 26.

“Anything Goes” is a musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter.

A large cast who can sing,  dance and have good comic timing are needed. Auditioners should be 16 and above. A small number of children will be accepted into the cast.

Those who wish to audition will be taught a part of a song from the show at the audition. Anyone wishing to be considered for a principal part will be asked to read from the script.

Everyone will be asked to learn a short sequence for the dance night on Tuesday, May 13. Auditioners come dressed to dance and bring tap shoes if possible.

The production is also seeking crew members and set construction personnel.
