Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law

Arrests

• Anthony Jefferson, 44, of 824 Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested Sept. 18 and charged with simple criminal damage to property and domestic abuse battery involving strangulation with child endangerment.

• Christopher Gul, 35, of 301 Carolyn Drive in Destrehan, was arrested Sept. 18 and charged with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.

• James Cheek II, 35, of 134 Thoroughbred Ave. in Montz, was arrested Sept. 20 and charged with unauthorized use of a moveable. He was a fugitive (two counts) with an attachment (three counts).

• Brandy Harris, 33, of 309 Ash St. in Boutte, was arrested Sept. 21 and charged with hit and run and obscenity.

• Malik Mitchell, 22, of 200 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested Sept. 20 and charged with use of certain wireless telecommunication devices for text messaging and social networking prohibited, possession of marijuana and accessories after the fact. He had an attachment.

• Airon Holmes, 38, of 845 East Hoover St. in New Sarpy, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with tail lamps required, stop lamp/turn signal required, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, expired MVI, possession of crack cocaine and obstruction of justice. He was a fugitive.

• Jacobi Jolly, 20, of 210 East Club Drive in St. Rose, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Kevon Harris, 20, of 306 East Club Drive in St. Rose, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
