Theresa “Tee” Marie Cortez Aucoin native of Des Allemands, LA, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2024 at the age of 79.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, of Raceland, on Friday, December 13th from 6 pm to 9 pm and will continue at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, in Paradis, on Saturday, December 14th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Theresa is survived by her son, Chad Aucoin (Candy); daughter, Chantelle Tilley (Michael); four grandchildren, Brad Aucoin, Kaitlyn “KK” Aucoin, Hailey Tilley and Makayla Tilley; brothers, Bradley, Nolan, Kevin Cortez; sisters, Barbara Badeaux, Cynthia Hotard, Kathrine Orgeron, Donna Verdin.
She was preceded by her former husband, E.J. Joseph Aucoin; parents, Elsa “Red” Cortez Sr., Velma Marie Dempster Cortez and brother, Elsa Cortez Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are preferred.
