Mary Darleen Dominic of Paradis passed away on November 22, 2021 at the age of 77.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 3, 1944, Dominic died after an extended battle with cancer at Ochsner Hospital in Kenner. She is preceded in death by her siblings Charles Krause, Leo Krause, Martin Krause, and Gerald Krause. She is also preceded in death by her parents Ruth Schilling Krause and Charles Edward Krause, former husband whom he held close to her heart Rocco A Dominic Jr. and daughter Roxsann Dominic White.
Dominic is survived by two children – Joy Ann Dominic and Maddox Rocco Anthony Dominic III (Diana), four grandchildren – Heather Marie Westbrook, Christopher Lance Dunkelberger, Zachary Michael Dominic and Nicholas Anthony Dominic and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Barbara Sheila Golubich (Robert) and Sr. Thea Krause CSFN.
Darleen owned several businesses throughout her life. She also was worked as a 3rd assistant manager at Big Lots in Ohio and Louisiana and was a Department Manager and eventually a People Greeter at WalMart in Boutte where she enjoyed greeting and talking to friends and customers.
