Noelie Morvant Hotard, 96, a native and resident of Norco, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2026. Relatives and friends are invited to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St. Norco, LA, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, visitation will begin at 9AM, with Mass to follow at 11AM. Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, LA.
Noelie is survived by her children, Richard Hotard, Jr. (Lilly), Lee McNeill (Dan), Ellen Matherne (Vic d), Joan Begley, John Hotard (Mary Clair), Meryl Schexnaydre (Russell), Thomas Hotard (Mary), and May Hotard (Paige Feigenbaum). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and by a host of nieces and nephews.
Noelie was preceded in death by her father Edgar Morvant, Jr., her mother May Morvant (Bethancourt), her brother Robert Morvant, and her sisters Delora Hotard and Lorraine Guedry.
She enjoyed her hobbies of gardening, reading, and crocheting. She was active on Facebook, keeping up with family and friends. She especially enjoyed being with all the children in the family, and they all loved their Maw-Maw. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Norco all of her life. Noelie also worked at Norco Co-op until retirement.
