Ballet auditions rescheduled
NORCO – The River Region Ballet will hold auditions for this year’s performance of the Nutcracker on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center located at 15146 River Road in Norco.
Auditions for acting roles boys and girls ages 7 to 10 is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. There is an audition fee of $10.
All dancers must sign 30 minutes prior to audition time.
Intermediate and advanced dancers who are interested in becoming a member of the ballet’s company or junior company may call the artistic director to schedule auditions.
Junior company members must be 10-years-old before Dec. 31 and dance at an intermediate level. Company members must be 13-years-old and female dancers must dance on pointe at an intermediate or advanced level.

River Region Ballet holds auditions
DESTREHAN – The River Region Ballet will hold auditions for Company and Junior Company members for their 2008-09 season on Saturday May 10 at Images Dance Studio located at 105-A River Point Dr. in Destrehan.
Intermediate dancer auditions for Junior Company (ages 10 and older) will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Intermediate/advanced dancer audtiions for Company (ages 13 and older) will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Female dancers must perform on Pointe and all auditions must bring a resume. Talented dancers with dedication and the desire to perform are urged to audition.

Timeless ballet on stage March 8
DESTREHAN – The River Region Ballet will present the full-length ballet Cinderella on Saturday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at Destrehan High School located at #1 Wildcat Lane.
