Boys Basketball
Season update: The Tigers have been practicing religiously for the past couple of weeks, and do not plan to slow down once the summer basketball leauge is in full swing. All players are starting the summer off with a bang as they soar towards to hoops and slam dunks and high flying three pointers.
Girls Basketball
Season update: The Lady Tigers have been busy as the junior varsity plays in games scheduled agianst various teams around the south. Wednesday, May 30, the Lady Tigers played in a scrimmage game agianst H.L. Bourgeois. It was good practice for both teams to take the court and execute plays that have been practiced all week. Coach Robicheaux says, “We’re fired up to play and get the season started.”
Baseball
Season update: Also getting into the summer spirit is the boys baseball team. Metro, Junior Legion and American Legion teams are all anticipating a great summer turn-out and some tough competition. The teams started practice in the middle of last week with games starting later in the month.
