The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is now taking applications for its 2014 Inclusive Summer Day Camp.
The camp is scheduled to run from June 2 until July 10 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Thursdays for campers ages 5 through 12 and ages 5 through 22 for campers with developmental disabilities.
Fees are $250 per camper. The deadline to register is May 5, and there will be a $50 late charge for applications submitted after that date.
One free t-shirt is included with the camp rate, and additional shirts may be purchased for $5 each.
Activities will include team sports, arts and crafts, board games, music, a talent show, outdoor activities, movie time, field trips and much more.
Saturday information and registration day will be held from 9 a.m. until noon May 3 at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, located at 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.. Registration forms may also be picked up at the Parks and Recreation office or downloaded at stcharlesparish-la.gov/recreation. Payment may also be made online.
