Arrests
• Gary Matherne, 26, of 176 South Leon Drive in Gheens, LA, was arrested Sept. 1 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, careless operation, transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
• Layton Crehan, 47, of 407 Pine St. in Hahnville, was arrested Aug. 31 and charged with manufacturing/production of marijuana (cultivation).
• Calvin Diggs Jr., 36, of 323 River Ridge Drive in Boutte, was arrested Aug. 31 and charged with criminal trespass, battery of a dating partner, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, criminal mischief, theft and simple damage to property.
• Merrill Marshall Jr., 19, of 1111 Luling Estates Drive in Luling, was arrested Aug. 31 and charged with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
• Seth Madere, 28, of 711 Kinler St. in Luling, was arrested Sept. 1 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
• Lee Austin, 35, of 141 Adams St. in Killona, was arrested Aug 1 and charged with resisting an officer and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
