Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
• Derrick White, 22, of 919 East Lawson Street in New Sarpy, was arrested July 12 and charged with fraudulent firearm and ammunition purchase – mandatory reporting. He had an attachment.
• Kyle Cowart, 33, of 4084 Hwy. 90 East in Des Allemands, was arrested July 12 and charged with criminal trespass (three counts), simple burglary, theft from a coin operated device, theft and unauthorized entry of a place of business.
• Yolanda Fiffie, 31, of 249 Sycamore Street in Hahnville, was arrested July 13 and charged with criminal mischief – filing a false police report, theft of a motor vehicle and filing a false affidavit to support an alleged theft of a motor vehicle. She was a fugitive.
• Trinity Dillon, 20, of 3412 Behrmann Highway in Algiers, was arrested July 13 and charged with illegal possession of a stolen firearm, traffic violation and possession of/dealing in firearms with obliterated number. She was a fugitive.
• Tyress Mitchell, 21, of 200 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested July 14 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
• Devon Murray, 20, of 183 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested July 12 and charged with possession of marijuana, traffic violation and operating a vehicle while under suspension for certain prior offenses.
• Antonio Dehart, 44, of 505 July Drive in Houma, was arrested July 14 and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
