Arrests
• Lydia Breaux, 23, of 200 Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery (2cts.), simple criminal damage to property, cruelty to a juvenile, resisting an officer, resisting an officer by refusing ID and 4 SCSO attachments at LA 18, Hahnville, on July 24. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with a 22 year-old Marrero man. During the altercation, the subject allegedly pulled the victim’s radio out of the dash board of his vehicle in an attempt to strike the victim. The subject then struck the victim with a ratchet and bit the victim several times on his hand. During the entire altercation Breaux was holding her infant child. After a brief struggle, Breaux was arrested and booked accordingly.
• Sandra Hoover, 42, of 200 West B St., Norco, was arrested and charged with poss. of a SCH I CDS to wit crack cocaine, poss. of drug paraphernalia and two brake lights required at Third St. and Apple St., Norco, on July 27.
• Stephen B, Mumm, 20, of 34 West B St., Norco, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH I CDS to wit crack cocaine at Apple St. and Third St., Norco, on July 27.
Sheriff Champagne reports that the two above subjects were arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed the subjects to be in poss. of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Theft
• A 1999 Ford truck, a 1998 boat trailer and a 1998 bass boat, valued together at $40,000, was reported stolen from 14271 US 90, Boutte, on July 24.
• 250 gallons of diesel fuel and twelve battery caps, valued at $20,770, was reported stolen from Nola and Evelyn Dr., Luling, on July 24.
• A boat motor, valued at $2,000, was reported stolen from Bonnet Carre Spillway, Norco, on July 24.
• A wallet containing assorted ID and credit cards was reported stolen from 558 Cypress Dr., Luling, on July 25.
• A digital camera, valued at $250, was reported stolen from a vehicle at 601 Willowdale Blvd., Luling, on July 25.
• A digital camera and a MP3 player, valued at $350, was reported stolen from 21 Michael Dr., Luling, on July 25.
• A headache rack and a chain saw, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from Brown’s Ln., St. Rose, on July 25.
• A 1995 truck, valued at $7,500, was reported stolen from 101 Delta Dr., St. Rose, on July 25.
• A portable welding machine, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from 15680 River Rd., Hahnville, on July 25.
• A 2000 Honda 4-wheeler, valued at $4,000, was reported stolen from 195 Zeller St., Ama, on July 25.
• A Mongoose bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen from 110 St. John St., Luling, on July 25.
• A global positioning system, valued at $700, was reported stolen from 19 Patricia Ct., Luling, on July 25.
• A portable DVD player and a 5’ portable LCD monitor, valued at $200, was reported stolen from 6 Patricia Ct., Luling, on July 25.
• A satellite radio and a pair of prescription sunglasses, valued at $400, was reported stolen out of a vehicle at 4 Michael Dr., Luling, on July 25.
• Two cell phones, valued at $800, were reported stolen from 119 Roseland Dr., Luling, on July 25.
• A DVD player, valued at $150, was reported stolen at 114 Live Oak Ln., Luling, on July 25.
• A leather wallet containing assorted ID and credit cards, assorted tools, a watch, and two cell phones, valued at $1510, was reported stolen from a vehicle at 121 Refuge Dr., Luling, on July 25.
• Two vehicles were broken into at 117 Live Oak Ln., Luling, at the time of the report, nothing appeared missing on July 25.
• A vehicle at 2 Patricia Ct., Luling, were reported broken into on July 25.
• Two vehicles at 117 Choctaw Dr., Luling, were reported broken into on July 25.
• Two vehicles were reported broken into at 501 Willowdale Blvd., Luling, on July 25.
• Two vehicles were reported broken into at 21 Patricia Ct., Luling, on July 25.
• A wallet containing assorted ID and credit cards was reported stolen from 119 Choctaw Dr., Luling, on July 25.
• A 20’ diamond back BMX bike, valued at $400, was reported stolen from 415 River Oaks Dr., Luling, on July 26.
• Four chain saws, valued at $1540, was reported stolen from 10326 U.S. 61, St. Rose, on July 28.
• An AM/FM CD player, valued at $110, was reported stolen from 184 Carolyn Dr., New Sarpy, on July 28.
• A wet saw, valued at $400, was reported stolen from 134 Bonura Dr., St. Rose, on July 28.
• A generator, valued at $1200, was reported stolen from 1024 Gassen St., Luling, on July 30.
DWI
• Nicholas Tortorich, 46, of 2205 Lena Dr., Chalmette, was arrested and charged with DWI and careless operation at I-10 East on July 27.
• JD Delacruz, 21, of 10352 US 61, St. Rose, was arrested and charged with DWI, driving left of center and open alcohol container in vehicle on July 30.
• Chad R. Becnel, 30, of 2808 W. Pinhook Rd., Lafayette, was arrested and charged with DWI and careless operation in the 600 Blk. of Spruce St., Norco on July 30.
• Brad E. Woods, 46, of 161 Smith St., Hahnville, was arrested and charged with DWI, two headlights required, driver must be licensed, registration and failure of operator to carry in vehicle at LA 18, Taft, on July 28.
• Lawrence Wells, 41, of 2209 Kansas Ave., Kenner, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving and driver must be licensed at US Hwy. 61 and James Dr., St. Rose, on July 28.
• Oliver Montgomery, 39, of 1516 Wakefeild Dr., Marrero, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at US Hwy. 90 & Fresh Water Diversion, Luling, on July 29.
• Terrance Jones, 40, of 5000 Pauger, New Orleans, was arrested and charged with DWI and improper lane use at I-10 EastBound on July 31.
• Nedi Fuentes, 27, of 1220 Paul Mallard Rd., Luling, was arrested and charged with DWI, lighted lamps, operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the U.S. on July 28.
• Inis Fontentot, 39, of 1466 Jacob Dr., Eunice, was arrested and charged with DWI at U.S. 90 & J.B. Green Rd., Des Allemands, on July 29.
• Demon Dee, 26, of 208 Old School House Rd., Killona, was arrested and charged with DWI, loud music from a vehicle, LP (misuse of temporary), and failure of owner to secure registration at Bird Ln., Hahnville, on July 30.
• Lucette Chaisson, 44, of 403 Calcasieu St., New Orleans, was arrested and charged with DWI, improper lane use, no LP, battery on a police officer, no seat belt and failure to change address in 10 days at I-10 Eastbound on July 28.
