Arrests
•Warren A. Sinceno, 43, of 524 Centanni Rd., Kenner, was arrested and charged with theft of goods and misapplication of contractors pay at Maple Ln., St. Rose, on July 28. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on March 18, 2004 for the above charges. On March 12, 2004, Sinceno allegedly signed a contract with a Destrehan man to replace his roof. Sinceno accepted $4,000 from the victim for materials to begin the work as stated in the contract. Sinceno never replaced the victim’s roof.

•Murphy Candies, 36, of 499 Estay Ln., Paradis, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. hydrocodone, poss. of Methamphetamine, poss. of alcohol beverage in motor vehicle and proper equipment required on vehicle at Robert St. and Hwy. 90, on Aug. 1.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation.  Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of hydrocodone and methamphetamine.

•DaQuin Washington, 30, of 717 Mockingbird Ln., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with poss. of marijuana, poss. of methadone, poss. of crack cocaine and fugitive from Jefferson Parish at 2nd St., St. Rose, on July 30.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after officers were dispatched to the above residence for a disturbance.  Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of marijuana, methadone and crack cocaine.

•Donald Smith, 18, of 231 Post St., Killona, was arrested and charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and obscenity at the above address on July 31.

•Terrance Smith, 20, of 1154 Paul Frederick St., Luling, was arrested and charged with aggravated rape at 5061 Hwy. 3127, Killona, on Aug. 1.

•Kelly Gray, 37, of 119 E. 21st St., Reserve, was arrested and charged with attempted forgery and identity theft at U.S. 61, Destrehan, on Aug. 2.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after attempting to cash a fraudulent check with a fake driver’s license in the amount of $414.13.  The above subject was also arrested and charged with theft over $500 at the above address.  The above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued in Oct. of 2002 for the above charges.  On Oct. 18, 2002, the above subject allegedly stole a Honda motorcycle from Destrehan, which was valued at $15,000.

•Michael Mittrucker, 22, of 1218 Clearview Dr., St. Charles, Mo., was arrested and charged with poss. of stolen auto over $500 and poss. of marijuana at LA 48, St. Rose, on Aug. 2.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being found in poss. of a stolen vehicle, which was reported stolen from St. Charles, Mo.  At the time of arrest, Mittrucker was found to be in poss. of marijuana.

•John Blank, 40, of 1546 Natchez Ln., LaPlace, was arrested and charged with molestation of a juvenile at 5061 Hwy. 3127, Killona, on Aug. 1.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant issued on July 31, 2006 for the above charges.  Blank allegedly inappropriately fondled a 13-year-old juvenile.

•Lindsey S. Jeffers, 23, of 15212 U.S. 90, Paradis, was arrested and charged with writing a prescription for a controlled dangerous substance for a fictitious person (3cts.) at Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on Aug. 4.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on Aug. 2 for the above charges.  Jeffers allegedly called in three fraudulent prescriptions on fictitious people for Vicodin and Somas.

•Ron L. Blades, 17, of 169 Wisner St., Paradis, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS to wit cocaine and poss. of tobacco under age 18 at U.S. 90 and Lafaille St., on Aug. 4.  Sheriff Champagne reports the above subject was arrested after being stopped for suspicious person.  Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of cocaine.

•Dewayne Mills, 30, of 1327 Diamond St., Tallahassee, Fl., was arrested and charged with criminal neglect of family at 5061 Hwy. 3127, Killona, on Aug. 4.  Sheriff Chamagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued in July of 2005 for the above charges.  Mills was ordered to pay $350 a month in child support for his daughter.  As of July 2005, Mills was $29,400 in arrears.

•Dana McCoy, 26, of 353 Ash St., Boutte, was arrested and charged with failure to return a rented vehicle and poss. of marijuana at Hwy. 90, Boutte, on Aug. 7.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being found in poss. of a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was reported stolen from Budget Rental Car in Kenner, La.  McCoy was also found to be in poss. of marijuana.

•Taylor Lawerence, 60, of 346 Second St., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with poss. of cocaine at I-310 NorthBound on Aug. 5.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for suspicious person.  Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of cocaine.

•Robert L. Stirgus, of 119 Union Ln., Montz, was arrested and charged with hit and run driving, driver must be licensed and poss. of cocaine in the 300 Blk. of River Oaks Dr., Destrehan, on Aug. 4.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being observed striking a parked vehicle without stopping.  Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of cocaine and did not have a driver’s license.

DWI

•Robert J. Metcalfe, 50, of 859 Apple St., Norco, was arrested and charged with DWI, careless operation and open container at Ormond Blvd., and Thomas Colby, on Aug. 1.

•Jorge Sanchez, 39, of 11723 Meadow Trail, Houston, was arrested and charged with DWI,improper lane use and no DL at U.S. 61 and Apple St., on July 28.

• Michael Tastet, 37, of 119 Pine St., Des Allemands, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and suspended DL at River Rd., St. Rose, on Aug. 2.

• William G. Walker, 68, 3238 Milan St., New Orleans, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and expired license plate on Aug. 4.

• Salvador Napolotano, 26, of 6209 Macie St., Metairie, was arrested and charged with DWI, do DL on person and careless operation at I-10 East on Aug. 6.

• Josefino Maldonade, 29, of 2351 Douglas Ave., Dallas, was arrested and charged with DWI, no DL, and careless operation at I-10 East on Aug. 6.

• Paula Keller, 40, of 4408 Lake Trail, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving, hit and run, and flight from an officer on Aug. 4.

• Lynn Butler, 43, of 220 Glendella Dr., Avondale, was arrested and charged with DWI, disregard to red signal, no DL, and failure to carry registration in vehicle at Hwy. 90 & LA 52, Boutte, on Aug. 5.

Theft

• A Palm Pilot and a digital camera, valued at $800, were reported stolen from 563 Cypress Ln., Luling, on July 31.

• Two chain saws, valued at $700, were reported stolen from 126 Bonura Dr., St. Rose, on July 31.

• Two tool boxes containing multiple Hydro Blast tools, valued at $11,500, were reported stolen out of a vehicle from 319 Ormond Meadows, Destrehan, on Aug. 3.

•  A Yamaha 4-wheeler, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from 187 Gordon St., Destrehan, on Aug. 3.

• A cell phone, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 11079 LA 18, Ama, on Aug. 6.

• A 2003 Ford truck, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 409 W. Harding St., Destrehan,  on Aug. 5.

• An IPOD, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 1 Wildcat Ln., Destrehan, on Aug. 4.

• A Mongoose bike, valued at $180, was reported stolen from 488 Acorn St., Boutte, on Aug. 6.

• Two minibikes, valued at $325, were reported stolen from 314 Oak St., St. Rose, La., on Aug. 5.
