Arrests
- David Divarde, 31, of 714 Ave. E in Westwego, was arrested Jan. 6 and charged with DWI, operating under prior suspension, texting while operating vehicle, possession of SCH III, possession of clonazepam, and two counts of possessing contraband in a correctional center.
- Marla Biggs, 25, of 219 Riverview Dr. in St. Rose, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with theft of items up to $750.
- Noil Vaughn Jr., 54, of 2705 Hero Dr. in Gretna, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with theft of items valued $5,000 to $25,000.
- Jerry Brown Jr., 35, of 47 Megehee St. in Waggaman, was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with attempted second-degree murder. He has a SCSO attachment.
- Tyrone McKay, 39, of 273 Capitol Dr. in Avondale, was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with DWI, texting while driving and driving in the roadway lane of traffic.
