Arrests

•  Sheriff Champagne reports that the subjects below were stopped for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed the subjects to be in possession of crack cocaine.

• Edward Potts, Jr., 47, of 127 Mott Ln., Des Allemands, was arrested for poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine and no seat belt at Tinney & Kinler, Boutte, on May 13.

• Charlotte Pierre, 42, of 1730 LA 52, Luling, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine, poss. of drug paraphernalia, open alcoholic beverage in vehicle and SCSO attachment at Timney & Kinler, Boutte, on May 13.

• Leroy Pinckney, 46, of 726 King St., Charleston, Sc., was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine at Timney & Kinler, Boutte, on May 13.

• Brittany Orgeron, 17, of 704 Fonda St., Paradis, was arrested and charged with second degree battery at 319 Kirk Dr., Paradis, on May 20. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after the subject was involved in an altercation with a victim. The subject allegedly punched the victim on the left side of the face causing him to black out.

• Gary Eugene, Jr., 25, of 363 Trailsway Dr., Hahnville, La., was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana, driving under suspension and loud music amplification at 15701 LA 18, Hahnville, on May 20. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped by deputies for loud music. Subject was found to be driving under suspension and did not have proof of insurance. During an inventory of the vehicle, deputies found 3 marijuana plants on the back seat.

• Tradrian Marquis, 45, of 146 Hahn St., Hahnville, La., was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. a CDS and a warrant for 67 counts of state narcotics violations at the above address on May 17. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant from Jefferson Parish for 67 counts of state narcotics violations and during a search of the subjects home, twenty bottles of CDS were found in her home.

• Charles Brooks, 23, of 232 North Arnoult Blvd., Metairie, was arrested and charged with poss. of marijuana and poss. of ecstasy at US 61 & Ormond Blvd., Destrehan, on May 19. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after the he abandoned his vehicle in the turning lane of US 61. When he returned, officers found marijuana and ecstasy tablets on subject.

• Pearson Montgomery, 48, of 2816 Tara Dr., Destrehan, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH III CDS to wit codeine, poss. of a SCH I CDS to wit marijuana, poss. of drug paraphernalia, two headlights required and open alcoholic container in vehicle at LA 48 Bertucci Ln., St. Rose, on May 21. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after a traffic violation. When deputies approached the subject he had a wooden smoking pipe containing marijuana. Also found in his car was a SCH III CDS to wit codeine.

•Melissa Lynch, 35, of 317 Davis Dr., Luling, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. crack cocaine at 14178 Highway 90, Boutte, on May 17. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following a traffic violation. Subject had crack cocaine hidden in her clothes.

Theft

• A digital camera, a digital stop watch, and colored pens, valued at $160, were stolen from 170 Roadrunner Ln., Destrehan, on May 15.

• A cordless phone, a radio/Cd player, a baby swing and a baby bouncer seat, valued at $270, were stolen from 1328 Paul Mallard Rd., Luling, on May 15.

• A self propelled lawn mower, valued at $400, was reported stolen from 14228 U.S. 90, Boutte, on May 16.

• A 5 ft. oak wood bench, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 302 East Club Dr., on May 16.

• $170.00 and a cell phone, valued at $338, was reported stolen from #16 Weinning Dr., Luling, on May 21.

• A 12 inch sub woofer, valued at $700, was reported stolen from 23 Melrose Dr., Destrehan, on May 21.

• $300 in US currency, a wallet, jewelry, credit cards, valued together at $817, was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at 112 Savanna Dr., Luling, on May 21.

• A 1993 Nissan King Cab, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from 14516 River Rd., New Sarpy, on May 20.

• A cell phone, valued at $200, was reported stolen from 200 Tiger Dr., Boutte, on May 18.

• Misc. lumber, plumbing, roofing felt paper, electrical junction boxes, electrical conduit, 3 cases of nails for nail gun, 2 cases of liquid nails, scaffolding deck and rails and two 20 ft. extension ladders, valued together at $22, 150, was reported stolen from 612 South Fashion Blvd., Hahnville, on May 17.

• A bank containing $40, a DVD player, US coins, a converter box, and a television, valued together at $740, was reported stolen from 428 South Kinler St., Boutte, on May 17.

DWI

• Michael Kincaid, 30, of 418 Octavia St., was arrested and charged with DWI 3rd offense, COMV and suspended driver’s license at I-10 East Bound, MP 216.6 on May 20.

• Dominique Lousteau, of 176 North Oak Ct., Luling, was arrested and charged with DWI and improper stopping at I-310 South Bound @ mile post 0.7 on May 20.

• James Swain, 30, of 120 Clement St., New Sarpy, was arrested and charged with DWI, driving under suspension and reckless operation at US 61 @ St. Rose Ave., St. Rose, on May 20.

• Raymond Slicker, 26, of 200 Second St., Des Allemands, La., was arrested and charged with DWI 2nd offense and hit & run driving at WPA Rd., Des Allemands, on May 21.
