Arrests

• Karen Falcon, 53, of 17 Bonura Dr., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and illegal discharge of a firearm on May 8. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with her husband. During the altercation the subject allegedly cut the victim on legs with a kitchen knife and fire a shotgun into the wall of their residence.• An unnamed person, 37, of Destrehan, was arrested and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile at Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on May 10. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly inappropriately fondling two female juveniles. The subject’s name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victims.

• Stephen Kimball, 23, of 2616 Georgia Ave., Kenner, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. a SCH I CDS to wit marijuana, poss. of SCH II CDS to wit hydrocodone, poss. with intent to dist. a SCH III CDS to wit Alprazolam, poss. of drug paraphernalia and two brake lights required at Fox Ln., St. Rose, on May 6. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of marijuana, hydrocodone, alprazolam, and drug paraphernalia.

• Peter Billiot, 41, of 15909 LA 18 #8, Hahnville, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II (cocaine), poss. of SCH I (marijuana), poss. of drug paraphernalia, and a fugitive from JPSO at the above address on May 8. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following a search of his residence due to a parole complaint. During the search officers located cocaine, hydrocodone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

• Joanna Monday, 29, of 217 Janet Dr., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II to wit hydrocodone, poss. of SCH II to wit Hycodan, poss. of SCH II to wit Dextranphedamine, poss. of SCH II to wit Adderall, and disturbing the peace by intoxication at LA 48, Destrehan, on May 5. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for suspicious person. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of various drugs.

• Diondra La’shell, 18, of 240 Vidal Ln., Ama, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at 272 Vidal Ln., Ama, on May 10. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after the subject was involved in an argument with a victim when the subject allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened to cut the victim. The subject then threw a bottle and piece of wood at victim #1 and another victim.

• Donna Nassar, 56, of 33 Shadow Ln., Destrehan, was arrested and charged with theft over $500, at the above address on May 12. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on May 10 for the above charge. On March 1, the above subject resigned from her place of employment and allegedly failed to return all of her employment’s possessions.

Theft

• A Nissan truck tail gate, valued at $400, was reported stolen from 430 Marino Dr., Norco, on May 8.

• An I-Pod and charger, $20, a linen jacket, valued together at $288, was reported stolen from 100 River Oaks Dr., Destrehan, on May 8.

• A computer with a flat screen monitor, a DVD player, assorted jewelry, valued at $2180, was reported stolen from 730 St. Charles St., Norco, on May 9.

• A table saw, wet vac, assorted paint and paint rollers, assorted crown and base molding, a halogen light set, valued at $1200, was reported stolen from 702 Evangeline Rd., Montz, on May 9.

• A bike, valued at $1000, was reported stolen from 62 Belle Hellene Dr., Destrehan, on May 12.

• An air compressor and DVD player, valued at $1050, was reported stolen from 121 Lakewood Dr., Luling, on May 12.

•A BMX bike, valued at $400, was reported stolen from 1420 Paul Fredrick Dr., Luling, on May 12.

•A 9mm semi automatic pistol, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 358 1st St., St. Rose, on May 10.

• A women’s bike, assorted tools and tool box, valued at $290, was reported stolen from 116 Antoine St., Luling, on May 11.

DWI

• Margaret Burns, 50, of 16013 Confederate, Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with DWI, COMV, open container, no seatbelt, expired license plate and no insurance at I-310 S/B MP 4.1 on May 10.
