Sheriff Reports 5-6-2006

Arrests

•Reynaud Lyncoy, 26, of 43 Cathy St., Norco, was arrested and charged with poss. of stolen property at LA 48, Norco, on May 27. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after being stopped for illegible license plate on vehicle. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of a vehicle that was reported stolen from New Orleans.

• Laquin Ingram, 21, of 326 Trailsway Dr., Hahnville, was arrested and charged with driver not licensed, improper display of plate, SCSO attachment, fugitive from JPSO and poss. with intent to dist. SCH II (crack cocaine) at Smith St., Hahnville, on May 27. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped fro no license plate. Further investigation revealed the subject was driving without a license and was wanted out of St. Charles and Jefferson parishes. Ingram was also found to be in possession of 19 grams of crack cocaine.

• Terrance Patterson, 28, of 1204 Lasseigne Rd., Thibodaux, La., was arrested and charged with reckless operation, aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, poss. of ecstasy, poss. of marijuana and fugitive from Jefferson Parish at LA 48 @ Burguires Ln., Destrehan, on May 30. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for driving recklessly. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of Ecstasy and marijuana.

• Duvell London Jr., 25, of 728 Turtlecreek Ln., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. a SCH II CDS to wit crack/cocaine, battery on a police officer (3 cts.) and resisting an officer by violence at 11734 LA 48, St. Rose, on June 1. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious person. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of crack cocaine.

• Curtis Johnson, 20, of 270 East 24th St., Reserve, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. SCH II (crack cocaine), no driver license and no proof of insurance in the 100 Blk. of Hollywood Pk., Montz, on June 1. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following a traffic stop for suspicious activity. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of crack cocaine.

• Darlene Holmes, 34, of 1730 LA 52, Boutte, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at the above address on June 3. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with a 34 year old Boutte man. During the altercation, the subject allegedly scratched the victim in the face and threw a pole from a weight bench at his elbow.

• Darryl Jackson, 41, of P.O Box 122, Killona, was arrested and charged with poss. of cocaine, poss. of drug paraphernalia and a fugitive from JPSO at Autin Ln., and LA 631, Des Allemands on June 3. Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that the above subject was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped. Further investigation revealed the subject to be wanted out of Jefferson Parish, and was in poss. of crack cocaine.

DWI

•David Barker, 24, of 122 Barker Rd., Lockport, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation on May 29.

•Corey Young, 37, of 1214 Narrow St., was arrested and charged with DWI, speeding and suspended DL at I-10 east on May 27.

•Valensuela-Rodriguez, Alfonzo, 21, of 247 Louis St., Lockport, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation, open container, switched plate and driver must be licensed at US Hwy. 90 and Louisiana St., Paradis, on May 27.

•Alvin Morgan Jr., 35, of 601 Mt. Vernon, LaPlace, was arrested and charged with DWI, careless operation and SCSO attachment at I-10 Westbound, on May 30.

•Andre Guidry, 43, of 283 E. 28th, Cut Off, was arrested and charged with DWI, speeding and improper lane use at I-10 Eastbound, on May 28.

• Dannny T. Chauvin, 39, of 100 Cedre Dr., Westwego, La., was arrested and charged with DWI and following too closely at U.S. 90 Westbound & I-310 on May 31.

• Noel Tullier, 46, of 2001 Kentucky Ave., Kenner, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and expired driver’s license at I-310 Northbound, Luling, on June 2.

• Ronald Hills, 57, of 16631 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at LA Hwy. 631 & Autin Ln., Des Allemands, on June 4.

• Barney Burks, 50, of 613 West Fifth St., LaPlace, was arrested and charged with DWI at Hwy. 61 & LA Hwy. 627, Destrehan, on June 4.

• Brent Boudreaux, 26, of 2274 Laurel Valley, Thibodeaux, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation in the 800 Blk. of Paul Maillard Rd., Luling, on June 3.

• Yogi Bartholomew, 56, of 16115 LA Hwy. 18, Hahnville, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation, driving under suspension, open container and SCSO attachment at LA. Hwy., 18, Luling, on June 3.

• Dorothy Catoire, 62, of 1600 Marseille Dr., was arrested and charged with DWI and careless operation at I-10 Eastbound on June 2.

Theft

• Assorted guns, valued together at $2905, were reported stolen from 323 Goodhope St., Norco, on May 28,

• A 10 speed bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen from 179 Amelia St., Ama, on May 28.

• A 2003 Kawasaki Motorcycle and a 2005 Kawasaki Motorcycle, valued together at $13,000, were reported stolen from 14438 LA 48, Destrehan, on May 28.

• A 2003 Kawasaki Motorcycle, valued at $2600, was reported stolen from 127 Bayou Estates Dr., Des Allemands, La., on May 26.

• A pistol, valued at $120, was reported stolen from 1114 Kinler St., Luling, on May 26.

• A 27” television, a radio/CD player and a microwave were reported stolen from 17973 LA 18, Killona, on May 30.

• A 24” bike, valued at $350, was reported stolen from 134 Ann St., St. Rose, on May 30.

• A refrigerator and assorted tools, valued at $1070, were reported stolen from 827 Milling Ave., Luling, on May 30.

• A Laptop, a PC cord, digital camera, DVD player and a pocket knife, valued at $720, were reported stolen from 216 Lorraine St., Destrehan, on May 30.

• A stackable washer/dryer, assorted tools and a generator, valued together at $2430, were reported stolen from 15616 LA 48, Norco, on May 30.

• A 9mm semi-automatic pistol, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 431 St. Charles St., Norco, on June 2.

• A laptop computer, valued at $2800, was reported stolen from 14051 LA 631, Paradis, on June 3.

• Assorted CDs and a CD case, valued at $220, was reported stolen from 91 Melrose Dr., Destrehan, on June 4.

• A lawn mower, valued at $400, was reported stolen from 348 Davis Dr., Luling, on June 3.

• 300 feet of telephone copper wire, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen from 123 Modoc St., Destrehan, on June 2.
