Lloyd M. Alexander Jr. entered eternal rest on April 19th at the age of 93. He is the son of the late Lloyd Alexander Sr. and Anna Belle Alexander. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Curtis Theard Alexander and his two daughters Catherine Cantrelle (Kerry) and Elizabeth Guedry (Mike). He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Chad Cantrelle (Crystal) and Erin Duet (Matt) and two great grandchildren, Keegan Cantrelle and Ryan Cantrelle.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and started his teaching career in 1955 at Hahnville High School. He taught biology, physics, and chemistry. Lloyd was an avid photographer, he loved camping, traveling, storytelling, people, laughter, Smart cars and drones.
Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive Luling, LA. 70070 on Tuesday April 30, 2024, at 9:30am. A memorial Mass will begin at 11:00am
