Sheriff’s Reports 5-29-2014

•Charlotte M. Simmons, 50, of 126 Mott St. in Des Allemands, was arrested on May 21 and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice.

•Christian M. Garrett, 22, of 103 Churchill Downs St. in Montz, was arrested on May 19 and charged with possession and distribution of a pharmaceutical drug, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent and as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

•Ryan J. Modica, 21, of 103 Churchill Downs St. in Montz, was arrested on May 19 and charged with possession and distribution of a pharmaceutical drug, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent and possession of heroin.

•David Wedge, 34, of 122 Meyers Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested on May 19 an charged with domestic abuse strangulation and felon carrying an illegal weapon.

•Leona M. Calloway, 38, of 533 S. Kinler St. in Boutte, was arrested on May 19 and charged with theft over $1,500.

•Theron J. Williams Jr., of 221 Harrison Ave. in New Orleans, was arrested on May 19 and charged with burglary of a movable.

•Richard Harriss, 49, of 607 Hamlin St. in Nokomis, Fla., was arrested on May 18 and charged with DWI and speeding.

•Javaron Grows, 23, of 130 W 1st in Edgard, was arrested on May 17 and charged with DWI and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

•Walter Cantrelle, of 1800 Bayou Road in Donaldsonville, was arrested on May 16 and charged with DWI, improper control of vehicle and having an expired driver’s license.

Thefts

•A weed eater was stolen from 610 Longview Drive in Destrehan on May 21.

• A GPS unit and iPod were stolen out of a vehicle at 713 Oak St. in St. Rose on May 21.•Assorted jewelry was stolen from 19 Elmwood Place in Destrehan on May 20.

•Two rabbits and a rabbit house were stolen from 619 Clayton Drive in Norco on May 20.

•A window unit air conditioner was stolen from 301 Court St. in Luling on May 19.

•Assorted tools, fans and appliances were stolen from 804 East Hoover St. in New Sarpy on May 19. •A cell phone was stolen from East Harding & 8th St. in New Sarpy on May 19.
