Evelyn Friloux Pintado, 78, passed away on Jan. 12.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. “Chee” Pintado; mother of Vicki P. Childress (Larry) and Troy Pintado (Dawn); grandmother of Christopher Averite, Richard Childress, Brianne Childress, Zachary Pintado, Jessica Pintado and Sarah Pintado; daughter of the late Edgar Friloux and Beatrice Robert Friloux; sister of Carroll Friloux and Iris F. Guidry, as well as the late Ray “Tiny” Friloux and Marlene Friloux.
She was a school bus driver for Jefferson Parish for 20 years, before joining Oreck Corp. in a support role. Her greatest joy was her family. She also had a passion for stitchery, crafting jewelry, quilting and painting.
The family thanked the staff of Ormond Nursing and Care Center for the care of Evelyn for the last three years.Funeral Service was held at Life Church, 13271 US-90, Boutte, on Jan. 14 with burial in Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
