Ethel Adams Comardelle, 88, a native of Raceland and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Jan. 8.Comardelle is survived by her son, Wayne Comardelle (Polly); daughter, Ruby Hackman (Lester); brothers, Vincent, Harris Jr., Nickless, Russell Adams; sisters, Corinne Girior, Enola Guidry; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Comardelle; son, Philip Comardelle; parents, Harris Sr. and Florine Adams; brothers, Douglas, Lovelace, Edward Adams and sister, Eva Frickey.
Comardelle was an avid member of Des Allemands Mennonite Quilting Circle.
Visitation was held Jan. 11 at Des Allemands Mennonite Church followed by religious services and burial in the Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.
