Marvin E. Bolding, 84, passed away on June 28, 2011.
He was the beloved husband of Doris Champagne Bolding by second marriage and the late Billie Tompkins by first marriage, father of Barbara Malcom (husband Barnie), Kim Brunner (husband Frank), Joyce Hood, James Bolding (wife Emily), Jerry Bolding and Jay McDonald (wife Lladi); brother of the late Margaret Snyder, Cecil Bolding, Clota Andrews and Frances Smith, grandfather of 14 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 19, and son of the late Charles and Veda LaMay Bolding.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during World War II and a machinist who retired from Westinghouse after 33 years. He was a native of Amorita, Okla. and a resident of Luling for the past 40 years.
Services were held at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero on July 1. Interment followed at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Family and friends may view and sign the online guestbook at www.mothefunerals.com.
