Lloyd G. “T-Lloy” Dufrene, 94, a cattleman and lifelong resident of Des Allemands passed away on Nov. 26, 2018.
Services will be held Saturday (Dec. 1) at Des Allemands Assembly of God Church, starting at 9:30 am. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche.
He is survived by his children, Marshall Dufrene (Wanda), Greg L. Dufrene (Cathy), Christine Williams (Jeff) and Blake Dufrene (Heather); sister, Loretta Landry; brother, Willis Dufrene; grandchildren, Nicky Dufrene, Tammy Billiot, Jared Portwood, Dawn Laque, April Noel, Lori Oubre, Jesse Leonard, Jamie Williams, Cortney Williams, Scott McDowell, Zachery McDowell, Cody McDowell, Rodney McDowell, Des’Tan Dufrene and Jon Paul Dufrene; numerous great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Martin Dufrene; son, Kent Dufrene; parents, Maloney and Clementine Matherne Dufrene; brothers, Raymond, Wilmer, Murphy, Alvin Dufrene and sisters, Alma Sevin and Leta Dufrene.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
