Justilien J. “Justy” Cortez, Jr., 62, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019.
Visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands on Monday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debbie Cortez; sons, Justin (Kristen) Cortez and Dillon Cortez; daughters, Amber (Major) Miller and Hope (Jacob Dupont) Cortez; brothers, James “Jimmy” Cortez and John Cortez; sisters, Joanne Newchurch, Louise Sassin, Sandra Loupe and Glenda Delcambre; grandson, Aiden Cortez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Justilien “Nookie” and Gloria Cortez.
