Lucille Champagne Gaubert passed away on Thursday, May 14. She was 83 years of age.
A native of Boutte and a resident of Luling. Daughter of the late Elphege and Valerie Richard Champagne. Wife of the late Wallace Joseph Gaubert. Mother of Pamela Gaubert Griffin and her husband, Gerald Joseph Griffin.
Grandmother of Nathan Gerald and his wife, Kimberly Inouye Griffin. Great-grandmother of Julia Marie and Sophia Ann Griffin. Sister of Doris Bolding, Hebert, Willie, Louis, Edward, Andrew and Earline Champagne, the late Fred, Oscar, Shirley Mae Champagne and Marie Gaubert.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend the visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling on May 18. Funeral services followed and interment took place in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft.
