Beverly Latour Chauffe passed away on Aug. 24, 2015 at the age of 85 years.
Chauffe was beloved wife of the late Gordon T. Chauffe, mother of Beverly C. Nunez (the late Joseph), Laurie C. Rivere (George) and the late Thomas P. Chauffe. Grandmother of Joshua Nunez (Kelly), Justin Nunez (Rosita) and Kelli Oertling (Ken).
She was great-grandmother of Anita, Stephanie, Kierstyn, Christopher, Macy and Avery. Sister of the late Shirley Baughman, Elaine Hebert, June Stoltz and Joyce Panquerne. Daughter of the late Thelma Casserino Latour and Charles Lawrence Latour.
Chauffe was also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
She graduated from Sophie B. Wright High School in New Orleans. During that time, she received training as a lifeguard and worked at area pools in New Orleans.
As a talented athlete, she swam competitively and received medals for her efforts. In her later years, she was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. Chauffe loved to baby sit her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Memorial visitation was held Aug. 31 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis with memorial services following. Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
