Howard Dewey Bentley, age 72, a native of Pike County, Kty., and resident of Des Allemands passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015.
Visitation will be held at First Assembly of God in Des Allemand, on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. until service time. A memorial service will be held at the church starting at noon with a burial at a later date.
Bentley is survived by his wife, Cindy Sheppard Bentley; sons, Johnny Messer, Curtis Bentley and Adrian Bentley; daughters, Theresa Sanchez, Brenda Tackett, Sharon Bentley and Anita Bentley; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
