Vernice Martin Ayo, 98, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Paradis passed away on March 28.
Religious services will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, at First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands.
She is survived by her son, Robert Ayo Sr.; grandchildren Derrel Breaux, Ryan Verdin, Vanessa Ayo Tabor, Robert Ayo Jr., 7 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.Ayo was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Mark Ayo; daughter, Myrtle Lee Verdin; parents, Willie and Mathilda Mark Ayo and a great grandchild.
