Chef Joseph Boudreaux

Hungry customers can once again visit 11760 River Road in St. Rose for tasty fare, as Boudreaux’s River Road Restaurant in St. Rose opened this week.

“I think that the menu has something for everyone,” Chef Joseph Boudreaux, a Destrehan native, said. “My favorite thing on the menu is the smoked chicken salad.”

Boudreaux remembers eating at the same space on River Road with his father and grandfather when he was growing up – then it was known as St. Rose Tavern, and now the building bears his name.

Boudreaux is a seasoned chef, with 13 years of experience at Frenier Landing Restaurant and Oyster Bar. His restaurant will feature happy hours, live music, and lunch specials.

“I’m excited to see friends and family getting together to enjoy great food and live music in a unique atmosphere,” he said. “I think our guests will appreciate our variety and prices. We want people to make memories, celebrate special occasions, and have a local place that feels comfortable where they can relax and have a great time.”

The menu at Boudreaux’s River Road Restaurant features pastas, seafood, smoked BBQ, red fish tacos, and steak. For more information on the restaurant, visit boudreauxsrrrestaurant.com.
