A Luling man who was one of four people arrested for manufacturing meth in a Coronado Park home has pled guilty.
Robert Wingrove, of 208 Santa Cruz Court, was arrested in November and pled guilty last week to the production, manufacture and possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to eight years in jail, but five years were suspended. Wingrove was also placed on active probation for five years.
Capt. Pat Yoes, spokesman for the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, said detectives received information that caused them to get a search warrant for a home at 208 Santa Cruz Court. Inside, deputies say they found bottles containing a bluish-green liquid that tested positive for methamphetamine. There were also four baggies of methamphetamine in a black safe, and synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the residence, according to the arrest report.
Three other people also lived at the home with Robert Wingrove and were arrested. Destinee Wingrove, 20, Renee Adams, 27, and Mark Aysen, 32, were all charged with five counts of the manufacture of methamphetamine. Each was also charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three are set for a status hearing in their cases next month.
