A Hahnville man faces up to 10 years in prison after being charged in a one-count bill of information with trafficking counterfeit goods, according to U.S. Attorney Jim Letten.
According to the bill, Glenn R. Nicholas, 54, sold counterfeit professional sports jerseys and Ed Hardy merchandise in July. If convicted, Nicholas faces a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 years, a $2 million fine and three years of supervised release.
The case was investigated by agents of the U. S. Department of Homeland Security and is being prosecuted by Assistant U. S. Attorney Irene González.
