Theresa Lorio Muller
February 7, 1941 – July 15, 2026
Theresa Lorio Muller, 85, passed away on July 15, 2026, at Luling Living Center, surrounded by her children. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Richard Muller, Sr.
Theresa was the beloved mother of Richard Muller (Teresa), Julie Songy (Doug), David Muller (Kim), and Debbie Comardelle (Shane). She was the proud grandmother of Bradley Muller (Reka), Cheyenne Muller, Monique Clulee (Dominick), Douglas Songy (Cherelle), David Muller Jr. (Kellie), Jason Muller (Amanda), Shane Comardelle, Connor Comardelle, and Jennifer Matherne (Phillip); and great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda Bourgeois (Donnie) and Linda Nicolais (Peter).
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Lorio and Ada Champagne; her stepfather, Dennis Champagne; her grandchildren, Blake Muller and Clayton Comardelle; her sister, Wanda Melancon; and her brother, Lawrence “Alex” Lorio.
Theresa served for many years as secretary for the St. Charles Council on Aging. She also worked at Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling. She loved cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, and gathering with her family.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Luling Living Center for the excellent care given to Theresa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, Louisiana, on Monday, July 27, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
