Destrehan man indicted on bank robbery

A Destrehan man has been indicted on one count of bank robbery.

Dillon Davis, 25, is accused of entering a Chase Bank at 3540 Williams Blvd., Kenner, and demanding $1,000 from a bank teller, according to the federal indictment.

If convicted, Dillon faces maximum imprisonment of 20 years, up to $250,000 fine, supervised release of up to three years and mandatory special assessment of $100.

U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans praised the work of the Kenner Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in investigating the incident. Assistant U.S. Attorney Brittany L. Reed is in charge of the prosecution.
