Campaign contributions to St. Charles Parish’s candidates for judge

Republican candidates Corey Oubre and Connie Aucoin are squaring off to determine who will succeed retiring Judge Emile St. Pierre on the bench of the 29th Judicial Court, Division C.

Saturday is the election primary. Polling locations open 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Aucoin has served as the parish’s assistant district attorney for the past seven years, prosecuting over a thousand misdemeanor and felony cases.

Oubre always knew he wanted to work in the legal field. He worked at a number of top law firms in the New Orleans area before becoming a partner at Duplass, Zwain, Bourgeois, Pfister & Weinstock, APLC. In 2014, he founded his own practice in Luling and expanded to an office in Metairie.
