An arrest has been made in the Wednesday’s Burger King shooting and attempted robbery.
Damon Bryant, 19 and of Avondale, was arrested Thursday night and charged with attempted murder and attempted armed robbery.
St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne said detectives arrested a man in Westwego last night (Aug. 3) with assistance from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. today.
