Jeanette Turner Lacassin of Baton Rouge proudly announces the engagement of her daughter, Ashley Lauren to Travis E. Starnes, son of Eugene and Patsy Starnes of Norco and grandson of Ruby and Homer Cooper of New Sarpy.
The happy couple met while attending a local youth dance and started dating through their high school years, while Ashley attended St. Charles Catholic High in Laplace and Travis attended Destrehan High School.
Ashley is an executive administrative assistant for a wireless real estate consulting firm in Gonzales and Travis is a financial advisor in Baton Rouge. After 11 years together, these high school sweethearts now reside in Prairieville and are looking forward to sharing the rest of their lives as husband and wife.
The wedding is planned for October 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville.
