The Saints Board of Realtors recently met at the Ormond Country Club.
Realtors consisting of agents from St. Charles, St. James and St. John Parishes were treated to presentations by all three Parishes Superintendents of Schools.
Knowing that realtors are often the first person of contact to a new person to the River Parishes, it is important for them to know what is being offered by the school systems.
Dr. Rodney Lafon of St. Charles Parish, Courtney Millet of St. John Parish and Dr. Lonnie Luce of St. James Parish all spoke of the importance that technology plays in the all stages of the students curriculum.
Reading and grade recovery is being held to high standards. Test scores in all three parishes show an increase in different areas.
The realtors were impressed with the sincerity all the superintendents displayed and their commitment to quality education for the children in the River Parishes.
