Mr. and Mrs. Danny K. Robbins of Luling announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Renée Robbins to Walter Lee Maggard Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lee Maggard Sr. of St. Rose.
The couple will be unified in Holy Matrimony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Norco during the month of March. The ceremony will be performed by the Rev. Wayne Taylor.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Kent of Hammond, the late John Kent of Algiers, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lenwood Robbins of Ripley, Tenn. She is a graduate of Hahnville High School, Delgado Community College and The University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Darr Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Graham Maggard Sr. He is a graduate of Destrehan High School.
