Local NFL cheerleader and business owner organizes toy drive for Luling Elementary

Amber Scott, a Luling native and 2014 alumna of Hahnville High School, spread the joy of Christmas this season by donating bicycles and toys to the students of Luling Elementary School.

Scott, who is the founder of her own nonprofit organization called ‘The Divine 7’ organized a Toy Drive to bless students ages five and six with numerous gifts during the Christmas season. Being that Amber is currently a local four-year NFL Cheerleader, she dedicates her social influence to community involvement.

She wanted to leave a lasting impact for young students of her hometown and strives to be a constant reminder that all dreams are possible regardless of upbringing or financial class. Seeing the reactions of the students after receiving their gifts is an example of the true meaning of Christ in Christmas and hopes this act can inspire more people to invest and get involved with the youth of the community.

Scott, on behalf of ‘The Divine 7″ thanked Lance Theard, owner of T&T Real Estate, for sponsoring the bicycles, and the generous donation of toys from Keith Miller and family along with her NFL dance team members and personal friends and family for making such an amazing event happen for these students.
