The regular meeting of the LaBelle Fleur Garden Club in Destrehan was attended by 19 members. The club gave a welcome gift to Glen and Heather Gabler.
Committee members were selected as follows:

September – Kate Hymel, October – Pat St. Amant, November – Sharyn Laurenc, December – Janie Rome, January – Gerri Chesne, February – Louise Hehmeyer, March – Karen Petit, April, Marie Weiler – May, Wildcat Kitchen, alternate – Liz Frazier.

The club will install new officers for the year on Sept. 8. The new officers are: Barbara Crespo, President; Karen Petit; Vice-President; Pat St. Amant, Secretary; and Marie Weiler, Treasurer.
