The regular meeting of the La Belle Fleur garden club was held at the home of Louise Hehmeyer on Sept.16 with 12 members in attendance.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Alice Miller.
Plans for the Fall Progressive Dinner were discussed. The dinner will be on Nov. 8. Cocktails and appetizers will be served by Alice Rome at 5:30 p.m., followed by salads by Lucille Schexnaydre and Kate Hymel, with dinner served by Janie Rome and Sharon Laurenc.
The Garden of the Month for June went to Dana and Brent Keller, and Rene and Lucille Schexnaydre. The Garden of the Month for July went to Michael and Kathy Wolfe and Joe and Dana Herbert.
The Garden of the Month for August went to Theresa Kubelka and Jeannie and Cecil Dufrene.
Community garden schedule is as follows: Week of October 5th, Louise Hehmeyer, week of Oct. 12, Kate Hymel and Lucille Schexnaydre, week of Oct. 19, Sharyn Laurenc, and week of Oct. 26, Marie Weiler
The garden hint of the month was to cut day lillies.
The next meeting will be held on Oct. 14 at the home of Marie Weiler.
