Mrs. Patsye V. Lunk announces the upcoming marriage of her daughter Miss Laurie Marky Keller to Mr. Michael E. Walters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. Walters of River Ridge.
The wedding will be solemnized in October at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville. A reception will follow at the Magnolia Plantation.
Laurie, the daughter of the late Vernon A. Keller, graduated from Hahnville High School and Ochsner School of Allied Health.
She is employed at St. Charles Hospital in Luling.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vial of Ama and the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis D. Keller of Hahnville.
Michael graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of New Orleans.
He is employed by LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Daigle of Thibodaux and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walter of New Orleans.
Following a wedding trip to Europe, the couple will reside in Ama.
